ZachXBT becomes Paradigm's new strategic consultant

ZachXBT, a renowned blockchain detective, has taken on an advisory role at Paradigm, a cryptocurrency investment firm driven by research.

In a post on X dated Feb. 26, ZachXBT, known for his 2D investigation skills and surviving scams, verified the news. The prominent blockchain analyst revealed that his position at Paradigm would involve providing incident response advice to the company's portfolio firms.

Upon joining the firm, the pseudonymous on-chain investigator stressed that his primary focus, which is investigating and resolving blockchain-related crimes, would remain unchanged. He referred to his choice to join Paradigm as an easy one.

"This decision was simple for me because it enables me to continue supporting the community and publishing investigations. I've always admired how Paradigm has contributed to the space by funding initiatives such as Security Alliance, publishing open source research, and advocating for privacy rights."

Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang also commented on the partnership, confirming that ZachXBT's work will not be affected. Huang stated:

ZachXBT has uncovered several cryptocurrency-related crimes, with his comprehensive investigations assisting law enforcement in capturing offenders.

In his most recent endeavor, the investigator assisted in identifying the Lazarus Group as the perpetrators behind the $1.5 billion heist on Bybit, earning him a $50k bounty from Arkham. Bybit also recognized ZachXBT's assistance in launching the exchange's platform dedicated to combating the Lazarus hackers.
